I'm a life-long Alaskan with a wide variety of experiences. I was an Infantry Marine, and then contracted as the combat medic on the security team for the U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan. During my time in Afghanistan I started a software company called Quick Bites. With no computer science background I lead a team that developed a now patented system to automatically generate wait-times at drive thru restaurants. Currently I am working on Health TIE; A non-profit program that is an innovation hub and business accelerator focused on HealthTech, here in Alaska.
