Tanana Chiefs Conference, Fairbanks Economic Development Corporation and U.S. Small Business Administration has collaborated to offer a free Small Business Resource Workshop to help interior Alaska entrepreneurs startup up smart!
This afternoon-long event includes 3 separate workshop topics:
1 PM - Alaskan Artists Small Business Primer, for artists wanting to start or grow their business.
2 PM - Triumph and Trials: Discussion with Small Business Owners - panel discussion with guests: Homyna Curiel, of Tundra Tonics LLC (food manufacturing); Kathy Mayo, Kathy Mayo and Associates (consulting); Ben Callahan, Callahan Construction Company, and Odin Peter-Raboff of Nomadic Stars representing brick and mortar retail and manufacturing.
3:15 PM - Find Your Match - Capital access & biz services speed-dating event, with traditional small business lending reps from Northrim Bank & SBA; KIVA 0% crowdfunded microloan, and Alaska Angel Conference equity finance options represented, as well as CPA Kelly Ward from Robinson & Ward for tax and accounting services.
